This workshop will focus on the practical aspects of initiating and facilitating ongoing transformative conversation within the workplace or faith community. Participants can expect to
  • learn simple strategies for initiating such conversations
  • experience one sort of discussion "agenda" designed to stimulate significant dialogue in one-hour conversations
  • discuss the process involved in facilitating transformative conversation
The workshop will also touch on such practical considerations as: creating appropriate vocabulary to discuss spirituality at work; locating others interested in such conversation; finding workable times and places for such conversations.
Whitney Roberson will also be the keynote speaker at a workshop for Anglicans on May 31, 1999 from 3:30 to 9:00 p.m.
Her topic is "Spirituality in the Workplace--Passing Fad or Spiritual Evolution?" The workshop, which includes dinner, provides a forum for dialogue between business leaders and clergy about spirituality in the workplace. Attendance is limited to 50 participants.
