INTERNATIONAL FORUM ON MANAGEMENT, ETHICS & SPIRITUALITY (FIMES), École
des Hautes Études Commerciales, Montreal, Quebec, September 18-19, 1998 Theme: Integrating Ethical and Spiritual Values into Managerial Theory and Practice Goal: to bring together people from different backgrounds and disciplines (business, public administration, government, universities, arts, science, humanities, community movements, religious circles, etc.) in an attempt to better integrate ethical and spiritual values into managerial theory and practice. The Forum is designed to provide a balance between reflection and actual experience and practice in organizations in various sectors. Limited to 150 participants in order to provide a human scale for
dialogue. Presentations translated simultaneously into French and English during the
Forum, and will be edited and published in book form after the Forum. |
3rd ANNUAL
LIGHTWORKERS' RETREAT, weekend of September 11-13, 1998 at Cold Spring Farm
in Phippsburg, Maine. A time for reconnecting, relaxing and recharging with other Lightworkers of like mind and heart who are seekers and servers of the Highest Good, and who are working to bring Light to the world through their vocations, their relationships and their being. In the spirit of the emerging Aquarian Groups, we create together a space for connection, reflection, creating and being--and of course, FUN! Open, spontaneous structure, drawing on group energy, with plenty of time to do your own thing. Location: Cold Spring Farm, an 18th c.farm in our family since 1946, on the Kennebec River near Bath - 1 1/2 hours from the ME/NH border. Hundreds of acres of woods, fields, river frontage, and a spring-fed pond for swimming. Also tennis court, volleyball and canoeing. Ocean swimming 20 minutes away. Guest rooms with either queen or twin beds for couples, and a dorm room. Also tenting space available, with access to the barn bathrooms. Begins Friday evening 7:00 pm with dinner, and concludes with lunch 1:00 pm Sunday. Cost: $90.00 per person, which includes food and lodging - $75 per person if you are tenting. Space is limited. CLAM CHOWDER FOR THE SOUL,

The CLARKSON CENTRE
FOR BUSINESS ETHICS, part of the Rotman School of Management at the

SPIRITUALITY RESEARCHER
PROJECT. Judi Neal, Director of the Center for Spirit at Work at the
University of New Haven in Connecticut, has announced a project to keep researchers
in spirituality in the workplace connected with each other. Part of this project is the
development of a database of quality research done in this area. Reply to her if you would
like to be included on an email list of researchers. Tanis is a catalyst for transformation. Since 1976 she has assisted individuals and
