INVITES YOU TO A WEEKEND RETREAT WITH MARIANNE KARSH

"NATURAL PROCESSES AT WORK"

Friday October 18, 2002 -
6:00 dinner
to after lunch, Sunday October 20

Mt. Alverno, Ontario

The Centre for Spirituality at Work and Arborvitae, an organization with a mission of nurturing spirituality through nature (www.arborvitae.org) invite you to our 2002 autumn retreat weekend led by Marianne Karsh. Bring with you your deepest question or desire regarding your work for a weekend of your own. Pause, reflect, discern, while being peacefully connected with the earth. Or just come for a great retreat weekend! We will share laughter and discussion, community, sleeping quarters, and good food. And we'll spend most of our time outdoors in the spectacular fall foliage of the rolling hills of Caledon. You may want to bring your music, poetry, a story, marshmallows, whatever, to share at our Saturday night fire. Also, bring something that is special to you as a connection with nature.

Mount Alverno is a 102 acre retreat centre southeast of Orangeville, Ontario. It is at 20704 Heart Lake Rd., which is the northern extension of Highway 410, and is located just south of Highway 9. Feel free to come early and stay late, extending your special time of being away. We will help in arranging carpooling, and suggest that passengers contribute $10 each way to the drivers.

Marianne is a longtime friend of the Centre for Spirituality at Work, a Registered Forester & research scientist, and founder of Arborvitae. She is well versed in native, Christian, and other spiritual traditions and incorporates these into her ecological teachings that are grounded in hope. Since 1982, Marianne has been leading retreats in nature in Ontario, Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, and Belize. You can reach Marianne at mkarsh@arborvitae.org .
