Finding Vocation: |
|
Saturday April 30, 2005

Most people spend more time planning a vacation than they do thinking about their life. Yet, in order to move forward with confidence and find your vocation, both clarity and courage are necessary. This program gives you time for individual self-reflection, sharing with a partner, and group discussion, all within the context of the discernment model, Clarity and Courage. Come with your musings about your career restlessness, your retirement, your job loss, or other major life changes. And enjoy the live piano music and singing that will help us on the journey. Tim Elliott, DMin, is a work transition consultant whose doctoral work focused on vocation. He is a jazz pianist and former Anglican parish priest who started popular Jazz Vespers services. Through Elliott Resource Services, Tim offers programs that integrate music, spirituality, teamwork, creativity and business to encourage purposeful and responsible living for both organizations and individuals. And for fun, he is currently researching the connection between jazz and spirituality. You may remember Tim as a speaker at our 1999, 2001, and 2003 spirituality in the workplace conferences, and his wife, CBC's Judy Maddren, at our 1998 conference. Reach Tim at ElliottResourceServices@bellnet.ca, and learn more at www.TimElliott.ca. REGISTRATION: Including the $20 material & copyright fee,
