HUMAN DEPTH : LEADERSHIP FROM THE INSIDE OUT with Dr. JANE SMITH-EIVEMARK |
Thursday November 24, 2005, 7:30 pm to
9:30 pm |
Human depth is the most important sustaining element of leadership development. However you think of leadership, it stems from the very capacity to function with clarity and with thoughtfulness along with a willingness to be in places -- often quite uncomfortable places -- that you haven't been before. The strength to work (and live!) like this comes from your faith to explore the core of your being. This evening, learn about a leadership paradigm that has been influenced by the work of both business philosopher Dr. Peter Koestenbaum (www.pib.net) and practical theologian the Rev. Dr. Henri Nouwen (www.utoronto/stmikes/library/nouwen) Join us for an opportunity to learn how these rooting principles can support your own approach to leadership, personal, professional, and organizational. Whatever your capacity is for depth, leading from the inside out needs ongoing cultivation to persevere and grow.
