ENNEAGRAM AT WORK
with HELEN PEACOCK
3 Tuesdays, Oct. 18, 25, Nov. 1, 2005, 6:45 - 9:45 pm
At the ABC, near Yonge & Bloor, Toronto
The Enneagram is a powerful system for understanding human motivation
that offers amazing insights into the way we perceive and relate. Its
origins are believed to date back to at least 14 th century Sufism, and
its acceptance today was developed partly through its use in Jesuit communities.
The Enneagram styles differ from the well-known Myers-Briggs types by
focusing on motivation, beliefs, and inner habits of thinking and feeling.
You find your place on the Enneagram through your inner experience rather
than your outer behaviour. Learn to apply the Enneagram in your work and
personal life as a tool for self-awareness, leadership, relationships
and teambuilding.
Helen Peacock, MSc, has been giving Enneagram teachings through
the Centre for Spirituality at Work for several years now and her programs
are always fascinating and popular. We are indeed fortunate to have her,
the Past President of the International Enneagram Association who has
studied with every major Enneagram author/teacher. Through Turning Point
International, Helen achieves extraordinary results for her corporate
clients, such as Cara Operations and Motorola Canada, by applying her
in-depth knowledge of the Enneagram motivational model and her many years
of line management experience. She focuses on the areas of Leadership,
Teambuilding and Change Management. Reach Helen at Helen.Peacock@sympatico.ca.

AN INTRODUCTION TO CONSTRUCTIVE COMMUNICATION
with KATHLEEN CONWAY
Saturday Nov. 19, 2005, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
At the ABC, near Yonge & Bloor, Toronto
Be introduced to a simple yet profound process for preventing or peacefully
resolving differences by deeply connecting with another person's feelings
and needs as well as with your own. Teams can increase goodwill and cooperation
amongst themselves and with others; co-workers can resolve differences
and accommodate different viewpoints. Individuals can break patterns of
thinking that lead to anger, depression and stress; parents can nurture
and build family relationships. Constructive Communication, also known
as Compassionate Nonviolent Communication, is based on the work of Marshall
Rosenberg, Ph.D., founder of the Center for Nonviolent Communication.
Kathleen Conway, MA (www.CamdenCommunications.com) is a facilitator
and writer who specializes in communications skills. She is a trainer
candidate with the Center for Nonviolent Communication (www.CNVC.org),
and has studied the work of the founder, Dr. Marshall Rosenberg, for eight
years. Kathleen is certified as a coach & facilitator by the Center
for Creative Leadership and leads lively, interactive and practical workshops
throughout Canada and the U.S. Some of her current clients include VISA
Canada, TSX Group, MCI Canada, and federal and provincial government ministries
and agencies. You can reach Kathleen at KConway@CamdenCommunications.com.

CREATING YOUR MISSION STATEMENT FOR WORK AND FOR LIFE
with JEANNE THERIAULT
3 Tuesdays, Jan. 24, 31, Feb. 7, 2006, 6:45 - 9:45pm
At the ABC, near Yonge & Bloor, Toronto
In a world where we are forced daily to make decisions that lead us either
closer to or further from our goals, no tool is as valuable in providing
direction as your own mission statement ~ a brief, focused, and powerful
statement of purpose that you can use to initiate, evaluate and refine
all your life's activities. A carefully thought out mission statement
acts as both harness and a sword, connecting you with what is true about
your life and cutting away all that is false. This program is based on
the work of bestselling author Laurie Beth Jones.
Jeanne Theriault is an expert Coach of both individuals and teams,
who addresses the Heart & Spirit within an organization and the person.

3 Mondays, Feb. 20, 27, Mar. 6, 2006, 6:45 - 9:30 pm

Most people spend more time planning a vacation than they do thinking
about their life. In order to move forward with confidence and find your
vocation, both clarity and courage are necessary. This program gives you
time for personal self-reflection, sharing with a partner, and group discussion,
all within the context of the discernment model, Clarity and Courage.

your job loss, or other major life changes. And enjoy the live piano music
and singing that will help us on the journey.
The Rev. Dr. TIM ELLIOTT, DMin, (www.TimElliott.ca) is a work transition consultant
whose doctoral work focused on vocation. He is a jazz pianist and an Anglican
