ENNEAGRAM at WORK II:
Communication & Conflict

with Helen Peacock

3 Mondays, May 1, 8, 15, 2006, 6:45 pm to 9:45 pm
The ABC, near Yonge & Bloor, Toronto

The Enneagram is a powerful system for understanding human motivation that offers amazing insights into the way we perceive and relate. We find our place on the Enneagram not through our outer behavior, but rather through observation of our inner experience -- motivations, beliefs, habits of thinking and feeling. Often, however, even though aware of our Enneagram style, we do not know how to apply our new awareness to develop greater relationship skills at work.

Ask yourself:
1. Do I communicate effectively so that others understand what I really mean to say? Do I objectively hear what others say to me?
2. Do I give constructive feedback so that others do not feel defensive and are actually helped to improve their performance?
3. Do I manage conflict effectively, including taking responsibility for my contribution to a situation, de-escalating a conflict, and approaching others in a respectful and productive way?
This program is for people who want to develop these relationship skills by applying insights they have already learned through Enneagram books or workshops. It is based on the work of Ginger Lapid-Bogda, Ph.D., author and senior organization development consultant. (www.TheEnneagramInBusiness.com). If you would like to attend but, despite your attempts, remain unsure of your Enneagram style, please let us know when you register so we can assist you before the program begins.

HELEN PEACOCK, MSc, has been giving Enneagram teachings for over ten years and is the Past President of the International Enneagram Association. Her programs are always fascinating and popular. We are indeed fortunate to have her. She has studied with every major Enneagram author/teacher, most recently in California with Dr. Lapid-Bogda. Helen achieves extraordinary results for her corporate clients by applying her in-depth knowledge of the Enneagram motivational model to the areas of Leadership, Teambuilding and Change Management.
